Sheikh Waseem Abrahams

Sh Waseem is well known in Cape Town.  He memorized the Quraan at an early age, he started his formal studies by travelling to Egypt where he completed 3 years at Al Azhar. 

He then had an opportunity to further his studies in the blessed lands of Makkah and completed a specialized degree in  Arabic Language and Education from Ummul Qura University. 

He returned to South Africa and holds an Imam position at Ighwatul Islam Masjid in Bridgetown. 

Sh Waseem also most recently completed and honours degree in Islamic Studies.
